Soul Retreats – One Day Saturday Retreats for Women in Surrey
Unplug, unwind, take time out to rest, relax and reconnect with your soul
Many of us lead very stressful lives and we do not give ourselves the chance, either to rest, or to review what might need changing to reduce stress in our lives. We have often lost touch with our ability to relax and with our internal intuitive resources.
A retreat offers you the opportunity for deep relaxation, self-healing and a chance to reflect on your lifestyle away from the hustle and bustle of normal life. This facilitates access to your own innate source of wisdom, a place where you can find supportive answers to any current dilemmas.
One Day Retreats offer you the opportunity to enter into deep stillness and relaxation, completely switching off for a whole day. The experience is like being wrapped in a loving, all embracing cloak so you can let go and be yourself. By the end, you will feel deeply refreshed and restored.
Dates & Times
Each Saturday retreat begins at 9.30am and finishes at 4.30pm. They take place in the dedicated sacred space of my Epsom studio with access to our lovely garden and home that also becomes a sacred space.
Included are light refreshments for the breaks and soup at lunch and you are invited to bring your own packed lunch. It is recommended that you wear warm comfortable clothing and bring outdoor wear and shoes, as well as slippers or socks.
There are a maximum of 7 places to ensure plenty of space for deep rest and relaxation.
18th May; Healing the Mother Line of our Ancestry.
A day of deep rest and stillness with guided meditations to connect with and release our Mothers allowing healing to flow all the way back to the original Mother. Then nurturing our loving Mother within.
3rd August – Summer Silent Retreat
A day of resting in silence supported by guided meditation, gentle meditative movement and meditative music. A labyrinth will be laid out in the garden for walking meditation and to facilitate deepening in the stillness.
Saturday 9th November: Preparation for Winter
A day of deep rest, relaxation and stillness. There will be some gentle guided meditative exercises to help us identify a few practical strategies that will support our innate tendency towards hibernation during winter and boost our immune system supporting our well-being and health at this time of year.
Saturday 11th January 2025: Creating a Vision for Yourself for 2025: Rest, Recover, Reflect, Refresh.
During this retreat you will be guided into deep rest and relaxation and given space in the stillness to reflect on how you felt about your life in 2024, noticing what you would like to release. You will be gently encouraged to observe what inspires and motivates you and how you can create and weave what you feel passionate about into your daily life. You will leave feeling deeply relaxed and also refreshed and inspired with a vision for yourself and your life for 2025.
1st March 2025: Silent Retreat Day
Guided meditation, gentle movement and walking the labyrinth will support you as you allow yourself to be captured by silence. You will be guided in the ‘art of entering and deepening into internal silence’ and while this does not always mean that everything is completely silent, gradually you will feel yourself resting in a deeper and deeper sense of internal quietude. Unwinding, being yourself and simply resting in stillness can be an incredibly healing and transformative experience.
